The Senior Consultant Role            

You will partner with customers as their trusted advisor, bringing technical and consultative expertise to assist them on their Qlik journey – whether it’s initial implementation, accelerating time-to-value, or enabling innovation with data.            

You will work with business leaders and creative teams across industries and functions for Qlik’s key customers. From multi-source data modelling, complex transformations, and innovative visualisations, you’ll be helping organisations in the UK and EMEA to lead with data!

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:            

As a Qlik Senior Consultant, you will work as part of a global Professional Services team, partnering with key customers to deliver our range of outcome-focused services. You will also act as a subject matter expert and lead for your peers in the wider Qlik Professional Services organisation, to Qlik partners, and to the rest of Qlik on topics relating to Qlik Cloud and its capabilities.              

You will be expected to:            

• Deliver and lead consultative engagements in-person and remotely for key customers, as the customer’s trusted advisor 

• Lead the discovery, analysis, design, and implementation of large-scale data integration and business intelligence solutions comprising of Qlik’s data analytics and integration products 
• Continuously develop your personal technical and business capability as well as that of the team, keeping pace with Qlik’s technology roadmap and industry trends 
• Use your knowledge and experience to support business development activities
• Work effectively within diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive team culture

We’re looking for a teammate with:            

• The implementation and operation of data analytics, data integration, and business intelligence products and solutions – including visualisation products, data warehousing, data lakes, cloud data and analytics technologies (Snowflake, Google BigQuery, etc.)
• Existing capability with Qlik Sense is not essential but highly desirable.
• Experience in engaging business teams, data analysts, and IT/technical teams to determine their use cases, requirements and challenges relating to their use of data.
• Knowledge of project management and delivery methodologies
• Experience with the discovery, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions – in particular, related to data such as interactive dashboards and reports.

• Strong technical and business presentation and writing skills, with the ability to present highly technical solutions to all levels of an audience. 

• Business and technical consulting, particularly with relevance to a SaaS software vendor where customer success is of the highest priority.
• Experience leading project delivery, coaching team members, managing client stakeholders, and interlocking with governance through established project management methods.
• Minimum of five years working in a client-facing role for data analytics software vendor, or a consulting organisation in an area related to data analytics.
• Fluency in English and Swedish is mandatory – with strong written and verbal communication skills
