The Senior Backend Software Engineer Role

Join our R&D team in Israel as a Senior Back-end Software Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in developing enterprise-class software applications and products.

As part of a global R&D team spanning Sweden, Canada, India, and Australia, you'll collaborate with talented individuals to deliver innovative solutions to our customers.

What makes this role interesting?

• Developing server-side code: Utilize your expertise in C, Java, or C# to develop robust and efficient server-side code, contributing to the creation of high-quality software applications.
• Agile team collaboration: Work as a valued member of an agile team, participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from planning and estimation to execution and delivery.
• Building customer-centric products: Collaborate closely with product managers, quality assurance engineers, and user experience designers to create products that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
• Clear documentation: Interact with documentation teams to ensure that system features and functionality are clearly described, enabling seamless understanding and usage of our products.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Contribute to product excellence: Your contributions to developing server-side code and active participation in agile team processes will drive the creation of high-quality, customer-centric products.
• Enhance collaboration: By working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll facilitate effective collaboration and alignment across different departments, ensuring that products meet both technical and business requirements.
• Ensure clarity and understanding: Your involvement in documenting system features and functionality will ensure that our products are well-documented, enabling users to easily understand and utilize them.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or an equivalent certificate
• Programming experience writing code in C\C#\Java.
• Experience in developing software for Windows and Linux servers.
• Basic knowledge of SQL query language and different Database / Datawarehouse systems

• Experience with Kafka /Kinesis /Google Pub Sub
• Experience with Cloud storage S3/ADLS/Google cloud storage.
• Experience in Mainframe, AS400 systems.

Kfar Saba, Israel
