The Senior Solutions Architect Role   

As our next Senior Solution Architect in Tokyo, Japan, you'll play a vital role in Qlik's Pre-Sales Organization—a key interface for customers and prospects.    

Collaborate closely with the sales team and business partners, showcasing the technical and business value of our solutions to drive revenue. Your focus will be geographical, occasionally emphasizing specific industries.

• Sales Impact: Technically qualify and contribute to closing sales opportunities using Qlik's advanced data analytics and integration platform.
• Strategic Pre-Sales Activities: Execute pre-sales activities strategically, aiming to drive regional revenue, showcasing your expertise effectively.
• Dynamic Solution Presentations: Deliver exceptional solution presentations tailored for key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and resonance.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:   

• Custom Demonstrations: Craft and present custom demonstrations, directly addressing customer/prospect issues and needs.
• Strategic Positioning: Articulate proposed solutions effectively to technical, end-users, operations, and senior management staff.
• Proof-of-Concept Excellence: Ensure the successful execution of Proof-of-Concepts, showcasing tangible value to prospective customers.
• Business Development Support: Actively support regional business development activities, adding strategic value to the team.

We’re looking for a teammate with:   

• At least 5 years of experience in a presales and/or consulting capacity
• Broad range of expertise with large-scale RDBMS, ETL and Analytics technologies
• SAP experience is a big plus
• Experience with the following technologies is an advantage:
  • ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, IBM Data Stage, etc)
  • Replication tools (Qlik Replicate, Oracle Golden Gate, Shareplex etc)
  • Hadoop, Kafka
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP)
  • Mainframe (zSeries) or AS/400 (iSeries)
  • BI Technologies (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI etc)
• Proven ability to project a confident attitude and professional demeanour in all customer interactions
• Excellent communication skills to the business as well as technical audience
• Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex opportunities
