The Principal Solutions Architect Role

 

As a Principal Solutions Architect in our Presales Organization, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the technical and business value of our solutions to support the overall sales effort.

 

With a focus on engaging with our largest customers and partners in the India region, you'll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders and staying abreast of the latest developments in the Data & Analytics market.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrate ownership of technical relationships and the technical sales cycle, guiding customers and partners through the process.
  • Revenue Generation: Technically qualify and help close sales opportunities by showcasing the value of Qlik's next-generation data analytics and data integration platform.
  • Solution Presentations: Deliver exceptional solution presentations to key stakeholders, showcasing how our solutions address their specific issues and needs.
  • Custom Demonstrations: Create and present custom demonstrations tailored to customer/prospect requirements, effectively positioning our solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Proof-of-Concept Execution: Ensure successful execution of Proof-of-Concepts to prove the value of our solutions to prospective customers, driving confidence and trust.
  • Business Development Support: Provide support for regional business development activities, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • At least 10 years of experience in a Presales and/or consulting capacity
  • Strong Knowledge of Data Integration (ETL), Data Quality (DQ), Data Governance, iPaaS (APIs, microservices, Application Integration) and Big Data
  • Good to have working knowledge in Talend ETL tools or related competitor ETL tools like Informatica.
  • Excellent communication skills to the business as well as technical audience
  • Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills
  • Track record of developing relationships at technical, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprises
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex opportunities.
  • Good experience in BI & analytics
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions like SaaS, PaaS and iPaaS
  • Good web development background (SQL, RDBMS, Java, HTML5, NET) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Machine Learning tools and its usage such as Python/R

 

The location for this role is:

 

  • Bangalore, India (Hybrid role based out of Bangalore)
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25 - 50%
  • Ability to travel internationally, if required
