Join our dynamic team as a Principal UX Product Designer, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting the end-to-end user experience and design of our innovative products and features.  

We seek a passionate, curious, and self-driven team player with strong collaboration skills in a global multi-disciplinary team. А strong should be detail-focused with excellent communication and presentation skills, strategically driven to consider the customer journey holistically, and possess a strong problem-solving design portfolio. Collaboration with other UX professionals and product managers is essential.  

Responsibilities:  
  • Lead the design of interface structure and information architecture, proposing enhancements to elevate our product offerings.
  • Collaborate with business owners and product managers to define user needs, business requirements, and product strategy.
  • Conduct feature-level competitive research and market analysis to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences.
  • Ensure design solutions align with business goals and customer needs, utilizing exceptional interpersonal communication skills to influence team members, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Shape the design strategy of our products, bridging perspectives between UX and business-focused teams from a human-centered design standpoint.
  • Synthesize user research and business data into strategic design solutions, aligning with the product team's objectives.
  • Define interaction patterns and user interfaces for external-facing products in collaboration with the UX team.
  • Advocate for the customer, influencing product and UX roadmaps through storytelling and high-level design concepts.
  • Apply proven UX practices, championing them within the UX Team and across the Progress organization.
  • Leverage Design Thinking and Lean-Agile UX within a Scaled Agile Framework.
Required Qualifications:  
  • Deep knowledge and experience with key usability laws, principles, heuristics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in low-fidelity wireframing, user flows, and storyboarding.
  • Experience conducting feature-level research on competing products in the market.
  • Familiarity with various user research and testing methods (A/B testing, multivariate testing, usability testing, user interviews, etc.).
  • Utilization of data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) to inform design decisions.
  • Design for software products, preferably business-to-business.
  • Strong technical understanding of software, computers, mobile devices, and networks.
  • Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) guidelines and best practices.
Desirable Skills:  
  • Proven leadership in team and program-level initiatives, with the ability to turn failures into successes.
  • Capacity to work across multiple tracks of work.
  • Experience using design kits and design systems.
  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools (Axure, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD).
  • Strategic work within a marketing team or agency, especially early in one's career, will be considered a plus.
