We are seeking an Inside Account Manager (New Business Hunter) to drive growth across the UK & Ireland, selling into mid-market customers. This role is focused primarily on new logo acquisition and expansion, supported by a strong product portfolio including Flowmon, LoadMaster, and WhatsUp Gold.
You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to close while working closely with partners, SEs, and internal teams. While this is a new-business-led role, there will be light involvement in renewals to ensure continuity, customer success, and expansion opportunities.

In this role, you will:
New Business & Expansion
- Drive net new customer acquisition across accounts in the UK & Ireland
- Build and execute territory and account plans aligned to regional GTM priorities
- Run structured outbound and inbound sales motions, including discovery, value positioning, and deal execution
- Position and sell across the Progress INFRA portfolio:
Flowmon – network performance and security analytics
LoadMaster – application delivery and load balancing
WhatsUp Gold – infrastructure and network monitoring
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, managing multiple opportunities concurrently
- Deliver compelling value-based conversations aligned to customer outcomes, not just product features
- Accurately manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
- Provide select support on renewals where required
- Protect existing revenue
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure smooth handoff between sales, renewals, and customer success teams
- Work closely with channel partners and distributors to drive joint pipeline and close business
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a high-quality customer experience
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B software or infrastructure sales, ideally in a mid-market hunting role
- Track record of new logo acquisition and consistent quota attainment
- Experience selling multi-product or platform solutions preferred
- Exposure to networking, infrastructure, observability, security, or DevOps-adjacent technologies is a strong plus
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance hunting, expansion, and customer care
- Comfortable managing a multi-country territory and diverse customer base
- Disciplined in pipeline management, forecasting, and deal qualification
- Curious, coachable, and motivated by growth and progression
- Able to work effectively in a hybrid, remote-first environment
