We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Account Manager fluent in German with proven success in both new business development and customer retention. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will manage renewals, expand existing customer relationships, and contribute to new business opportunities within a 2‑tier partner ecosystem.

Please note that the role will be mainly on-site in the first few months during the onboarding.
In this role, you will:
Customer Retention:
- Own and execute customer renewal cycles to minimize churn and maximize retention and expansion
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term value
- Proactively identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within the installed base
- Conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations in collaboration with Pre‑Sales
- Tailor messaging to customer business needs and clearly articulate value propositions
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking in CRM
- Provide regular and reliable forecast updates to management
- Collaborate with marketing, customer support, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Share insights and feedback with the team to enhance overall sales and customer retention strategies
- Fluent in both written and verbal in German
- Solid sales experience, with a focus on both new business development and retention
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role
- Outstanding time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Willing to travel on ad hoc basis to customer and channel engagements, support tradeshows, events, and companywide activities
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Results-driven with a customer-centric approach
- Experience in new business development alongside renewals
- Exposure to 2‑tier distribution / partner ecosystems
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, partner events, or trade shows
