About the role:
Supervise ergonomist(s) on site and from home, providing direction and support for the ergonomic assessments and recommendations and assist the Health Center Manager as needed.
Essential Functions
  • Manages staff typically composed of Ergonomist Specialists and executes the following, but not limited to supervisory responsibilities:
  • Direct supervision for 2-10 Ergonomist Specialists across 1-2 sites
  • Responsible for following appropriate processes for staff management including staff development and performance management
  • Responsible for interviewing, training and ensuring the successful orientation and onboarding of new colleagues
  • Assist Premise team and Health Center Manager in implementation of strategic program and marketing plans
  • Assist the Health Center Manager with monthly reporting statistics
  • Partner with Premise Health Teams and related departments to provide optimal performance of the site to meet the needs and satisfaction of client
  • Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution Execute the non-supervisory responsibilities of an Ergonomist Specialist, but not limited to the following:
  • Identify and assess ergonomic hazards in the workplace
  • Work in an embedded client environment
  • Produce technical reports in a proficient and timely manner
  • Complete data collection and detailed analysis
  • Advise on the organization of production lines and workstations
  • Assemble solution for both short and long-term risk reduction
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Professionally and effectively interact with diverse clientele
  • Promote safe, healthy, and inspired workplace environments
  • May require other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education:
  • Degree in Health Sciences (Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Science) with an ergonomic focus or a Degree in Bio-Physical Engineering preferred.
Experience: 
  • At least 2 years experience working with ergonomic application
  • No supervisory experience required, but is preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience working with ergonomic application preferred.
