Performance Marketing Strategist

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Strategist for one of our B2B tech clients’ Center of Excellence (COE) team. This is a full-time 12+ month contract / freelance-based role! The COE’s Performance Strategy team is responsible for driving the global delivery and optimization of demand generation solutions. The Performance Marketing Strategist is responsible for combining digital channel knowledge with web and email marketing experience to optimize rich, personalized experiences that drive demand and solutions. We are looking for an experienced marketeer with strong digital skills, experience with a full range of paid media and social channels, and a B2B marketing background who excels at driving and optimizing high performing campaigns from awareness through sales conversion.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and optimize audience focused demand generation campaigns for global deployment
  • Function as the interface and drive the integrated demand generation and nurture plans along with any supporting content
  • Develop complete, effective digital demand generation campaigns including understanding audience, media and content strategies and develop digital customer journeys to drive KPIs
  • Collaborate with the creative, media agencies and marketing team to drive the effectiveness of campaigns in achieving key goals including engagement and lead generation
  • Develop test plans and drive optimization in the performance of experiences, content, and nurture programs; maintain an ongoing focus on optimization to driving improving ROI
  • Establish measurement methodology and analyze results in terms of ROI and other key KPIs
  • Coordinate with Brand and Portfolio Marketing teams and regional SMEs to align journeys content with campaign initiatives
  • Partner with the sales focused Business Development Representative team to effectively pre-qualify leads while monitoring the ROI of channels driving leads to increase ROAS
  • Collaborate with the ABM team to determine personalization strategies that can be supported by campaign efforts that will aid in one-to-one selling approaches
  • Provide input on the development and monitor inbound lead goals, track key metrics measure results and pipeline performance including all conversion points, and report insights and optimization recommendations to stakeholders
What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B IT campaign marketing, digital marketing, and analytics
  • Experience with digital conversion methodologies and related marketing automation processes
  • Experience optimizing web sites for demand generation objectives
  • Experience with digital marketing systems and analytical tools including Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, (or equivalents) and Tableau or other aggregation tools to develop KPIs, metrics, and quantified performance measurements and identify optimization opportunities desired
  • Experience managing agency relationships strongly desirable
  • 3+ years of B2B social media experience is desired
  • SEO / SEM experience strongly desired
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience; agency experience and/or MBA a plus
