POP seeks a Senior Marketing Intelligence Strategist to work across our Analytics, Research, and Customer Experience Strategy practice. This is a new role at POP that will work on a variety of projects ranging from ongoing reporting and research to creative and content strategy. This role will report into the Director of Marketing Intelligence, with a dotted line into the CX Associate Strategy Director. What You’ll Do

  • Refresh and QA data sources for accuracy
  • Lead research partnerships, negotiating contracts and acting as the SME on all tools
  • Build and present ongoing reporting deliverables for various clients
  • Participate in new business, developing groundbreaking strategic briefs
  • Build strategies that guide content, UX, journeys, and creative development across accounts
What We’re Looking For

Marketing Intelligence Strategy (i.e. analytics, research, performance management): 60% 
  • Expertise in MarTech and AdTech (i.e. Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe, GA, etc.)
  • Experience building dashboards leveraging multiple data sets (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into a story that guides future marketing decisions
  • A knack for translating complex data sets or concepts into simple ideas
  • Provide optimization recommendations grounded in data
  • Capability in test and learn planning and execution
  • Curiosity to learn new tools and advance our analytics practice
  • Understanding of predictive data modeling and ability to build or guide the modeling process
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working without much oversight and can collaborate effortlessly across disciplines
  • Ability to provide big picture thinking, while never hesitating to get your hands dirty doing the work
  • Define KPIs, taxonomies, tagging requirements, and oversee implementation
  • Understanding of end-to-end data sets including website tracking, SEO, paid media, audiences, etc.
CX Strategy (i.e. Creative, Content, etc.): 40%
  • Distill audience insights and 3rd party research to guide a meaningful multi-touch CX
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities within projects
  • Experience in brand and creative strategy with proven ability to write a creative brief, provide feedback on ideas, and advocate for concepts internally and with clients
  • A relationship owner with key clients, cultivating trust, seamlessly collaborating, and maintaining open, authentic conversations.
  • A team player nimble enough to quickly turn input around into actionable content outlines for creative teams to work from
  • Depth of understanding in UX and data-informed design
  • A track record of presenting and collaborating with senior leadership, both on the agency and client side
  • A natural curiosity about our industry and our client’s industry, tracking emerging trends, tools, and technology
Overall requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related subject and a minimum of six years of experience as a strategist and/or analyst
  • Digital agency experience required
  • B2B experience preferred
  • Positive, curious, enthusiastic teammate required
  • Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours
