POP seeks a Support Services Developer (SSD) who will work collaboratively with the Customer Experience Team providing key technical support for our B2B email marketing SaaS product, WordFly. The SSD will help investigate issues, address technical questions, create custom reports, and extend our technical documentation and administrative tools. The SSD is responsible for sustaining high client satisfaction by providing a consistently rapid and high-quality response to product questions and needs in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot issues and errors in existing database and software systems
  • Communicate consistently and professionally with team members about the status of assigned tasks
  • Analyze and document areas of the application that would benefit from internal documentation
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn new software and reliability tools
  • Work closely with Customer Experience Team, Interactive Developers, Software Developers, and QA Engineers to understand the application and complete assigned tasks
  • Give regular feedback to the Software Development team on the quality and maintainability of the code and documentation the team produces

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of programming experience with ASP.NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with structured release and configuration management, utilizing techniques such as versioning, branching, and merging code bases, and tools such as source control (SVN)
  • Working in issue tracking systems (JIRA a plus)
  • Programming experience with non-Microsoft technologies such as Java, PHP, MySQL, and other open source technologies is helpful as well
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
  • Email Service Provider experience and System integration experience is a plus
  • Must be fluent (written and verbal) in English language with the ability to document technical concepts, procedures and processes. Excellent communication skills are necessary for speaking with team members, clients, documenting requirements, and working together with the product team
