Senior Strategist, Global Engagement Program Lead-Contract

POP seeks a contract Senior Strategist to assist with a maternity leave coverage for our Microsoft client. If you are an expert in leading global communication programs and/or content strategy we have a place for you. Our ideal candidate is an effortless collaborator who likes to jump right in.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for supporting the global engagement programs (GEPs) for Modern Workplace for BDM and ITDM audiences
  • Leverage data for insights and campaign optimization to deliver high quality leads to Inside Sales, Partner and Field sellers while mainstreaming the best performing tactics
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and channel owners across GDC on GEP connections and execution including events and branding team on the development of the campaign, plan for channel delivery (web, paid, social, events, field), manage creative development and production, and measure results
  • Work with Product Marketing stakeholders to understand business including: priorities, messaging, and goals. Work with stakeholders to develop and gain approval of content aligned to the business, and report back on how GEP outcomes are supporting it
  • Develop executive communications on program and initiative progress and results through both written communications and PowerPoint presentations

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong integrated marketing skills with experience managing global marketing programs and campaigns including strong experience with email campaigns and content development and familiarity with paid media, web, and social media marketing tactics
  • Familiarity with driving and optimizing marketing strategies that connect to sales motions
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize raw data into actionable campaign optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives, preferably with familiarity with marketing testing and experimentation
  • Strong time and project management skills with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving, and executive presentation skills are required
  • Ability to distill complex business and technology strategies to compelling messaging across various marketing materials and to a variety of audiences
  • Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and proven ability to have impact & influence
  • Previous experience with Microsoft in a marketing role or within GDC
  • Available for the entire duration of the contract, April 1st- October 15th with the possibility of extension
