Summary

Individual should have solid communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have at least five years of experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems knowledge is also required. Position reports directly to the Corporate Financial Controller

Ability to work in fast-paced, rapid growth environment is a must. Current duties will include managing the Accounts Payable function for 50 plus clinical locations across multiple states.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to oversee/supervise the AP group in the Accounting Department – manage an initial group of 3-4 Accounts Payable Clerks
  • Manage all account payable tasks, including disbursement and customer vendor relations
  • Manage the check and EFT disbursements
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in service delivery
  • Maintain various systems, including PaperSave and Great Plains to improve on the timeliness and accuracy of services provided
  • Ensure timely processing and posting of invoices
  • Providing annual financial audit assistance as required
  • Develop and enforce adherence by other members of the A/P staff to policies and procedures of the company towards improving on service delivery
  • Preparing accruals and reconciling to the general ledger as required
  • Maintain Vendor Files in Great Plains
  • Responsible for maintaining 1099 vendor files; processing and filing 1099 forms with IRS and contractors/vendors
  • Maintaining accounts payable aging analysis
  • Handle escalated vendor calls
  • Hiring, training and supervising accounts payable staff
  • Support maintenance of A/P System, including approval hierarchy (PaperSave)
  • Prepare annual employee reviews
  • Special projects as assigned Skills/Qualifications
Requirements
  • BS degree in Accounting, Business or similar
  • 5+ years of current experience in an A/P supervisory work preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Excellent computer and business organization software proficiency
  • Project management skills and customer service initiative
  • Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent situations.
  • Ability to support various clinical management personnel
