This gives us insight into everything from the number of Medicare patients that take advantage of wellness exams, to out-of-pocket payment trends, to patient satisfaction with their care. Our clients rely on us to manage their intake process and we are looking for people who want to make healthcare better.

As a senior member of our Marketing and Business Development team, the Director of Market Development will play an integral part in the creation and execution of our growth strategy across core healthcare market segments (e.g. IDN, Multi-Specialty, Corporately Owned). The Director will be accountable for the revenue and bookings targets within their market segment and will provide strategic leadership to sales, marketing, operations and the product organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Define total available market and develop a go-to-market plan for your market segment
  • Work cross functionally and lead market development strategy to achieve rapid, predictable growth
  • Research buyer personas and define respective value proposition for your segment’s product offering
  • Set pricing to commercialize new and existing products in your market segment
  • Identify and operationalize go-to-market partnerships that support growth
  • Manage to bookings and revenue targets

Analyze and report market segment performance metrics to Phreesia senior leadership team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferred
  • 6-9 years of work experience in corporate/business development, consulting or product marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth through strategic, market-based solutions
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with all levels of client, internal staff, and management
  • Outstanding problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Proven ability to effectively influence across a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry a plus
  • High energy and self-starter orientation
  • Willingness to travel (20-25%)
