SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE  

Under the direction of the Implementation Project Manager and Implementation Manager, the Lead Implementer organizes and facilitates the implementation of Vetspire and drives operational productivity through the development of standard operating practices.    

 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS   

·       Familiar with a variety of veterinary industry concepts, practices, and procedures and relies on broad experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals   

·       Understanding of veterinary practice workflows and software requirements.  

·       Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered a top-level, senior contributor/specialist   

·       Moderate to advanced knowledge of computers   

·       Ability to maintain the confidentiality of business specific systems, process, and content as needed   

·       Ability to be self-driven, detail-oriented, organized, multitask, and prioritize jobs    

·       Ability to work and manage in a collaborative team environment   

·       Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of experience and education   

·       Proficient in written and verbal communications    

·       High level of Vetspire knowledge required, other Veterinary PIMS an advantage  

   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

·       Ensures timely completion of project tasks, maintains project plans, and establishes implementation best practices  

·       Ability to manage and prioritize your time – essential to role  

·       Facilitates and leads training via webinar, in-person meetings, and other online coursework  

·       Ensures accountability in completion of self-paced training modules  

·       Assist in developing SOP’s to drive operation efficiency  

·       Facilitates project planning meetings and enables communication of project status to operational leaders & managers  

·       Assists with change management when migrating practices to Vetspire and coding structure.  

·       Works with staff to understand the new Central Code structure.  

·       Identifies, communicates, and resolves barriers for implementation projects  

·       Evaluates practice needs, develop systems that support business processes and effectively communicate to managers on required product development  

·       Must be collaborative, reliable, and responsive  

·       Solution orientated and empathetic  

·       Build relationships with all members of the ecosystem and local hospital teams to promote and support a positive team culture  

·       Passion for pets and their health and well-being.  

·       Able to manage individual relationships within hospital teams and relationships of individuals and hospitals across the ecosystems  

·       Provides expert guidance, technical support, and training for end-users onsite  

·       Supervises trainers by monitoring performance and ensuring the success of a project  

·       Manage travel expenses in accordance with company policy  

   

TRAVEL AND HOURS OF WORK  

·       Typical travel of every other week: 4-5 consecutive days. 50-60% annually  

·       Some travel could be required outside of typical business hours, depending on hospital operating hours.  

·       Working/travel hours has the potential to extend into weekend
