Job Overview:

Long Beach Animal Emergency is looking for a candidate with at least two years of experience in the veterinary profession. As a 24/7/365 Emergency & Urgent Care practice this position will require flexibility to work days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed. As the first point of contact in our Emergency Department, our Customer Service Representatives will be responsible for recognizing and responding appropriately to emergencies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Patient check-in/check-out
  • Answer multi-line phones, daily calls
  • Cash handling, payment/refunds
  • Thorough hospital cleaning
  • Gather patient histories and explain treatments, medications and why we'd like to do this for the patient
  • Act as a liaison between clients, their family veterinarian, clinical staff and other department supervisors
