Kennel Technician (Part Time)

Outstanding opportunities at state of the art veterinary hospitals seeking Kennel Technicians to work collaboratively with our medical staff. Seeking entry level and advanced level kennel staff to provide kennel support and comfort to dogs and cats in boarding and daycare. Work directly with animals in care of the hospital including special play programs and daycare, as well as boarding, dog training and grooming. Experience handling dogs and cats preferred; coursework in animal care/behavior highly recommended. Additional training provided.

- Check in and out boarding clients
- Verify vaccines.
- Maintain a clean kennel environment.
- Monitor dog play groups and walk individual dogs.
- Accurately label pets and their belongings
- Administer food to pets.
- Accurately document any problems or concerns.
- Communicate with clients updates on pets.
The hospital will operate during weekdays and Saturdays; the clinic does not close due to inclement weather. Schedules cover the full hours of operation. A list of current shifts is available from the department supervisor.
