Position at Bay Cities Pet Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated licensed Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to our pet patients, support veterinarians with medical procedures, treatments and the overall wellbeing of our clients' pets. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Veterinarians in surgical and medical procedures.
  • Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients.
  • Induce and monitor general anesthesia.
  • Complete dental prophylaxis including dental extractions under supervision of veterinarian
  • IV catheter placements.
  • Preform lab tests, blood draws and diagnostic imaging.
  •  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed Registered Veterinary Technician.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as Veterinary Technician 
  • Ability to lift and restrain animals of all sizes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in using veterinary software and tools. 

Position is full-time, 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday 

Pay: $22-27
