Veterinary Hospital Janitor

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00/hr, depending upon experience
Job Purpose:
*Work as a team with all members of the veterinary staff and provide support in keeping cleanliness
of all areas to ensure the hospital runs smoothly
*Uphold the principles of Quality, Integrity, Compassion, and Service
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Wash and stock laundry
*Sweep and mop floors in all areas of the hospital
*Clean wet tables, exam tables, sinks and countertops on a daily basis
*Wash dishes
*Clean out refrigerators as needed
*Empty and line trash cans and recycle bins
*Check and clean drains in front of runs at least once per shift
*Dust/clean light fixtures, vents and cabinet tops
*Clean all restrooms and make sure they are stocked
*Walk through lobby and restrooms ensuring cleanliness
*Sweep/mop lobby and clean up all necessary trash and spills
*Clean up patient potty areas throughout your shift
*Disinfect patient potty areas when necessary
*Clean windows and doors as necessary
*Clean sidewalks and parking lot regularly
*Walk around the perimeter of the hospital and parking lot at least twice per shift (more often if
necessary) to ensure the facility is tidy
*Respond favorably to all requests from personnel for help and support
*Responsible for upholding the spirit of ACCESS by handling all necessary tasks that require attention
