** This position will ideally be based in Austin, TX out of our headquarters office and be hybrid in office 2-days a week. Candidates based in other geographies across the U.S. will also be considered for a remote role. **

Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant role is responsible for cash reconciliation and a contributor to month, quarter and year-end general ledger close processes and will assist with other projects as needed.

Responsibilities:  
  • Complete monthly cash reconciliations for approximately 400 locations. 
  • Work with location level staff to identify and record reconciling items into practice management systems and/or accounting system. 
  • Routinely, and as needed, record entries into Workday ERP related to reconciliation of cash accounts. 
  • Work with other cash team members to complete cash reconciliations. 
  • Contribute to month, quarter, and year-end general ledger close processes. 
  • Assist with process improvement and automation initiatives. 
  • Provide audit schedules for external financial statement audits.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis for select financial accounts.
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
  • BA/BS degree in accounting is required
  • Workday software experience is a plus
  • Large company, multi-store retail or previous joint venture/partnership experience is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas and pivot tables)
  • Experience with PIMS, EMR, or POS systems is a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of processes
  • Adapt to process changes quickly and confidently
  • Possess excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Eagerness to work in a high-volume, complex environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables
