Summary/Objective
Bogart Associates of Northern VA is seeking qualified Software Developers for positions on site with the customer in Northern Virginia. In this role one will primarily be implementing solutions for enhanced capabilities and providing operations and maintenance support in an enterprise application.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience. PhD with 4 years of relevant experience.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Design, develop, debug, and implement new software products or major enhancements to existing software
- Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on user requirements
- Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
- Perform Security Patching and updates in C2S environment
- Consult with project teams and end users to identify user requirements
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration, and testing tools
- Resolve problems with applications and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
- Participate in the development of software user manuals
- Design and code web sites in using Web-related technologies to include HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, CSS, PHP, Bootstrap, SharePoint Designer.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Experience with designing web applications
- Experience with web services (i.e. HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, REST. etc.).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Support high-level senior staff, including the director, front office personnel and other managers.
- Manage visual information tasks with minimal guidance.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience with software systems development in the IC community.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Agile Scrum Training
- Experience with Cloud- based web application technologies
- XACTA
- RMF

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, office hours during the day
