Pandora is looking for a Senior Manager, Brand and Artist Marketing to join the growing Marketing team in Oakland, CA.  This role is responsible for leading our Brand and Artist Marketing strategy by partnering with Industry Relations, CRM, Performance Marketing, Editorial and Communications to determine the ideal marketing channel plans. We are seeking a strong leader that can break through competing priorities and build strategic plans that are rooted in data, insights while keeping an eye on growth opportunities. This position requires a curious, organized and self-motivated individual that is passionate about music & pop-culture, can influence decision making and drive business results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the weekly music meeting with cross channel partners to review marketing priorities, releases, review cross channel plans & performance
  • Learn & understand marketing channel performance goals and stay on top of test results to help the teams prioritize releases across channels
  • Meet regularly with cross channel partners to review marketing calendars and advise on artist opportunities
  • Track marketing commitments
  • Stay on top of high volume of inbound requests for support across artists and labels
  • Partner with Content Licensing to make sure they are aware of which artist are used in marketing
  • Act as the point person for to the product Marketing team when product launches require exclusive artist content

Professional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Artist marketing in developing performance and growth strategies while navigating competing priorities
  • Brand marketing Strategy experience to inform artist marketing strategy
  • Ability to lead and influence teams across the organization including Creative, CRM, Owned Social, DR Media, Comms, Experiential, Curation and Brand teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing digital and offline marketing plans 
  • Analytics and data-driven
