Racial Justice Expert/Consultant

Oxfam is seeking a Racial Justice consultant to assist in designing Oxfam’s approach to its’ Racial Justice work either as an independent stream within Oxfam or by mainstreaming the work across all major initiatives. S/he would function as an internal consultant and expert on strategic design and process implementation.  A recognized expert at a national level, this person will have successfully demonstrated the ability to anticipate and follow external events and advise Oxfam on prioritizing engagement and/or advocacy aligned to the Oxfam 2030 Strategic Plan.


An additional qualification would be the proven ability to link domestic racial justice to an international context.  Ability to approach this assignment by taking an intersectionality approach is critical, including linking the approach to other Oxfam priorities such as Climate Change.   Other areas of expertise include the ability to help address the larger conundrum of racism in aid; decolonization of aid; white supremacy within organizations like Oxfam, among others.
