We're currently seeking a dynamic, success-driven Mechanical Cost Estimator to join our growing team in Seattle, Washington! Mechanical Estimator Responsibilities:
- Create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development.
- Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary.
- Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client’s project and strategic goals.
- Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals.
- Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information.
- Attend onsite client meetings in the Pacific Northwest as needed.
- Support business development efforts by developing, promoting, and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, presentations, etc.
Desired Estimator Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of mechanical cost estimating experience.
- Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents at all levels of design.
- Expert user On Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar industry software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
