We're currently seeking a dynamic, success-driven Mechanical Cost Estimator to join our growing team in Seattle, Washington! This role will support clients' needs across all market sectors in the region. Mechanical Estimator Responsibilities:   
  • Create estimates, studies, analyses, and evaluations, at all levels of project development.
  • Provide conceptual-level estimates, detailed quantity take-off, change order reviews/reconciliations, and value engineering solutions as necessary.  
  • Provide a detailed review of all documentation and develop comprehensive cost estimates/models that communicate client’s project and strategic goals.
  • Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.
  • Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals.
  • Actively research, solicit, and develop sources/vendors for compiling and maintaining accuracy of cost information.
  • Attend onsite client meetings in the Pacific Northwest as needed.
  • Support business development efforts by developing, promoting, and maintaining client relationships through the creation of cost exhibits for proposals, meetings, presentations, etc.
  
Desired Estimator Experience:   
  • A minimum of 2 years of mechanical cost estimating experience.
  • Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents at all levels of design.
  • Expert user On Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar industry software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
