Role Description

The Senior Associate, Revenue Cycle Analytics reports to the Sr Director of Revenue Cycle.   
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys solving challenging problems, uses data to drive insights, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This will be a high-visibility role requiring significant cross-team collaboration within Population Health and other corporate teams (e.g., Business Intelligence, Care Services, Compliance, Clinical Quality, Managed Care Operations, etc.). 
Core Responsibilities 
  • Play critical role in leveraging data analytics and strategic thinking to identify key insights and drive high-impact initiatives across Revenue Cycle and Population Health 
  • Provide strong analytical support across interdepartmental functions (risk analytics, eligibility, care model tools, payer data, accurate claim submission, demographic data integrity)  
  • Analyze data from billing vendor and internal databases to develop and maintain reports and dashboards 
  • Stay current on latest developments with the CMS risk adjustment model 
  • Communicate billing opportunities to field teams and varying stakeholders, demonstrating comfort in a high-visibility role 
  • Develop materials and lead discussions on guidelines, performance, trends and opportunity areas with relevant organizational leaders 
  • Other duties, as determined by direct manager 

  

What are we looking for? 
  • 3+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare or population health; experience with revenue cycle, risk adjustment, and ICD-10 and CPT codes preferred 
  • Analytical and data savvy; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Power Query and/or SQL skills preferred) and data presentation 
  • Basic understanding of Medicare and Medicare Advantage eligibility and claim processing 
  • Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Quick learner comfortable with a high level of ambiguity 
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement 
  • Strong written communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint 
  • Ability to develop business cases, ROI analysis, and financial analysis 
  • Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information 
  • Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables 
  • Collaborative working style, able to work cross-functionally 
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment 
  • Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high-quality work product 
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • US work authorization
