Sr. Director, Strategic Alliances

To maintain momentum and to accelerate growth, Nutanix (NASDAQ:NTNX) is expanding its Business Development & Strategic Alliances team. The Sr Director, Strategic Alliances is a pivotal leadership role within the organization that will drive strategy, execution, GTM plans for strategic partnerships to lead, manage, own and orchestrate Nutanix internal teams and strategic partners that span infrastructure, enterprise and SaaS applications, hybrid cloud, IoT and other partnerships that form all aspects of Enterprise IT. This is a critical role for the company, and a significant opportunity to shape the continued growth of Nutanix.

 

The person will be a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of driving successful partnerships and managing a team to deliver the desired results across a diverse set of partners.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners
  • Drive technology integration, solutions validation and business plans to maximize sales revenue and differentiated value to Nutanix’s customers and partners with milestone-driven goals and outcomes
  • Drive regular cadence and governance across the executive, business units and technical owners with milestone metrics and progress tracking
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across regions, business units and executives to deliver a results-oriented partner plan
  • Provide strategic insight on partner strategies and roadmaps to recommend solutions and adapt to the changing market landscape
  • Develop architectural roadmap engagements to drive innovation of Nutanix product lines aligned with the ecosystem.
  • Act as a thought leader to Nutanix internal teams on business and strategic issues relating to the Nutanix technology partner ecosystem.

 

Requisites:

  • 10+ years’ sales and Alliances experience in leading and managing complex technology partnerships
  • Proven track record in delivering tangible results and significantly impacted the growth trajectory of the company.
  • Experience in building a results-oriented approach to managing and leading teams with focus on business planning, strategic thinking and tactical execution plans
  • Proven skills in complex multi-dimensional problem solving with strategic partners
  • Result driven / goal oriented
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
