The Talent and Organizational Development Consultant will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of talent development programs for employees and managers in APAC in alignment with organizational development initiatives for a more integrated development experience. As part of the COE team, you will be the strategic partner and SME consultant to our HRBPs and leadership team to deliver best-in-class solutions at Nutanix. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Talent & Organizational Development.


Key responsibilities:

  • In partnerships with manager and COE teams, design strategies to build and support various aspects of talent development program with engaging learning experiences to increase the capabilities of our employees and leaders in APAC
  • Provide consultation as strategic partners with HRBPs and senior leaders to design and create customized Talent & OD solutions to meet needs of our APAC clients
  • Collaborate with all relevant parties to develop and enable successful implementation and management of integrated initiatives in both talent & organizational development areas to include orientation, on-boarding, leadership training, engagement, diversity, team building, culture analysis, vendor management, and talent assessment and management processes.
  • Provide program management and/or project support for Global HR initiatives and operationalize employee engagement, career development, team building, employee onboarding, diversity and inclusion, talent pipeline programs
  • Support consistent regional and global talent mobility by rolling out Talent Review and succession plan process to encourage talent mobility of high-potential and ready now individuals across APAC
  • Promote Nutanix Core Values and Culture across offices in APAC
  • Manage the life cycle of programs from development to implementation including program evaluations, needs assessments, content development, ROI metrics, vendors, and budget
  • Apply solid and innovative instructional design skillset to develop and customized content (live and e-learning modules) as needed for APAC employee, manager, and leadership development programs
  • Employ creative facilitation talent to deliver live and virtual courses to ensure high level of participation and engagement for APAC region audiences
  • Design work flow to create a team environment with continuous improvement
  • Leverage best practices and partnerships with HRBPs and senior leaders to promote, market, and bring visibility and value of T&OD programs to the APAC employee population and beyond as appropriate
  • Explore and identify current best practices to integrate into program designs as well as share with team and partners
  • Lead new initiatives and manage existing programs to meet the needs of business clients in APAC region

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with creative writing talent is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of focused work in the domain of learning and organizational development at the corporate level (with leadership development experience a plus)
  • Language: Need to be able to speak, read, and write English fluently; proficient with Mandarin or other Asian Languages is a big plus**
  • Travel required: may be up to 50% within APAC region

 

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in fields related to Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or Behavior Science
  • Highly preferred post graduate level degrees
  • Certification in MBTI, DISC, EI or similar personality/behavior assessments is a plus
