Job Description

We’re looking for an Operations Program Manager who has extensive experience in the field of software and hardware program management. The Operations Program Manager will be a flexible, highly detail-oriented person who will create and execute program plans. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead multiple projects and use effective influence and communication across all levels of the organization. The PM must be able to cultivate strong relationships while developing cohesive internal teams among Engineering, Quality, Planning, Marketing, Support, Test, Manufacturing and Supply Base Management groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing activities and teams, while representing Operations in cross functional Program team meetings.
  • Ensure project results meet schedule, quality, and cost targets
  • Communicate program status, identify and drive issues and risks to closure
  • Work directly with contract manufacturers, provide guidance to keep them on schedule
  • Provide strong leadership to identify program risks and propose solutions to mitigate impact
  • Execute cost reduction initiative plans
  • Develop new processes to bridge gaps
  • Assess and react quickly to changes in fast paced environment
  • Continuously improve program processes and practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Program Manager in outsourced manufacturing environments
  • Broad understanding of quote to cash business systems and HW/SW product development cycles
  • Previous experience in NPI and Sustaining; proficient in project management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability and desire to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced, fast growth environment and handle multiple projects and tasks daily.
  • The ability to think strategically, while driving tactical program execution
  • Proficient at MS office products, Arena and ERP systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Highly organized, detail oriented
  • Good sense of humor!
