Technical Program Manager - Platform
- Manage technical programs for NPI, hardware/software integrations, server hardware technologies and integration in areas such as Compute, Storage, Network, Server Management, and Security.
- First-hand experience managing Platform OEM and/or ODM through development and qualification cycles
- Create project plans, execute and drive schedules with x-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders. Use your technical background and product knowledge to dedicatedly identify risks, issues and drive their resolution
- Drive software development lifecycles with application of key project management principles
- Drive software and hardware bug triages and debugging, and facilitate delivering fixes timely
- Independently and accurately report on project status to the executive team
- Define and deliver on KPIs for the organization, as well as drive strategic operational programs
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, with a tenacious focus on customer first mindset and delivering results.
- Excellent problem-solving and crisp communication skills, written and spoken
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware engineering or software engineering and project/program management.
- Bringing the level of expertise with Platform/Server hardware development, software development/QA, technical program management, product, analytics, and reporting is a requirement.
- Strong software engineering technical background with a real passion for delivering high-performance, quality software.
- Good understanding of SW release processes. Practical experience in waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Prior experience working with partners and customer engagement will be a plus.
- Experience with designing bug tracking tools (Jira experience preferred) and Confluence for tracking and communication
- Prior experience with Project management tools such as: Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, etc.
- Escalation resolution engagement experience will be plus
- Ability to maintain the urgency for project/program delivery
- Familiarity with any one of the programming languages or scripting language
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
