The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Director to lead the BI team that supports Nutanix’s Worldwide Sales, GTM, and Product functions. As the leader of the team, this individual will be responsible for building a best-in-class analytics function, with strong business insights, and advanced / predictive analytics. They are also expected to groom a strong pool of analytics talent in the team.

 

 

Sales Strategy at Nutanix
The Business Intelligence (BI) team at Nutanix provides insights, analytics, and reporting  focused on driving growth, performance, and operational efficiency throughout the organization. The team works closely with functional leaders in Sales, GTM, and Product, as well as Strategy and Operations counterparts worldwide. The analytics produced by the team is used by the senior leadership to run the business, derive insights on opportunities / gaps, and drive strategic initiatives.

 

Your Role
  • Be a strong analytics partner to senior business leaders.
  • Build advanced and predictive analytics capabilities in the team.
  • Groom talent, to build a best-in-class analytics team.
  • Drive design simplicity and elegance.
  • Streamline and automate data pipelines, ETL processes, and documentation.
  • Work closely with business partners to develop a roadmap of priority initiatives.
  • Establish a zero-error quality check framework.

 

What You Will Bring
  • 15+ years of experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence.
  • Experience managing high performing Data Analytics / Business Intelligence teams with 8-10 direct / indirect reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or mathematics.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in Data Analytics or Data Sciences are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with Software/SaaS Go-To-Market motions, concepts, and metrics.
  • Expert in databases, queries, programming languages, visualization tools, analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting systems, to guide / mentor the team in these areas.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Effective communicator with strong executive presence 
  • Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders (VP+)

The team  has a track record of delivering actionable insights through data analysis, improving decision-making and revenue growth. One of their key achievements includes developing a streamlined reporting system that boosted efficiency and accuracy in sales data analysis.
