The Channel Manager is a high impact, very prominent role responsible for establishing Nutanix as a market leading Infrastructure Company within the UK Channel. Helping deliver growth in revenue and the number of enabled partners within his/her region, the role will be a healthy mix of both technical and commercial activity with a focus on solution selling, enablement and relationship management.



  • Drive Growth in Revenue delivered by the Nutanix Partner Network within the UK
  • Drive Growth in the number of enabled Nutanix partners in the UK
  • Drive Growth in the value of the opportunity pipeline
  • Work with Distribution Partners to recruit and enable Authorised Partners
  • Work directly on enablement and management of a selection of Premier and Elite Partners
  • Work with the wider WEMEA Team to deliver and exceed the regional sales targets
  • Contribute to the design and then execute the delivery of Enablement, Technical, Sales, Channel Marketing and Recruitment Plans
  • Demonstrate Nutanix solutions as part of the ongoing development of Partners



  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of one or more of the following areas: 
    • Application and/or Server Virtualization Technologies
    • Storage Solutions
    • Integrated Systems
    • Converged and Hyper-Converged Systems
    • Solution Design
  • Ability to maintain relationships with sales, technical and marketing resources at all levels within a Partner
  • Thorough understanding of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and close deals.
  • Ability to assist and train partner technical resources to run demos and trials for end users
  • Forecasting on channel sales pipeline and delivering sales results through the channel
  • Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Experience of CRM Systems
  • Ability to travel within the UK


Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years prior experience in a vendors channel sales team
  • 5-8 years experience solution selling or partner management experience in a high tech sales environment
  • A demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology and reaching channel sales goals 


Preferred Experience

  • Direct professional experience with VMware, Microsoft or Citrix virtualization solutions.
  • Experience selling servers, storage hardware, networking or virtualization
  • Experience of managing partners such as Computacenter, SCC, WWT, BT, Dimension Data.
