The HR team in Hoofddorp, Netherlands is looking for a pro-active Compensation and Benefit Intern to assist with the daily administration of our compensation and benefits programs as well as special projects. Our EMEA HR team delivers HR support to all employees across EMEA in 24 countries.

In this position, you will be a team member of both the EMEA and Global HR team. The successful candidate will be supporting the Compensation and Benefits Analyst in Hoofddorp on several new projects alongside day-to-day administrative tasks, while at the same time delivering a best in class employee experience.

This Internship is a 6-month opportunity with the possibility of extension. To be eligible for this position, the candidate should currently be enrolled in university studies.


  • Provide administrative support and act as point of contact for benefits brokers, handle day-to-day benefit related queries from employees and the HR team
  • Support the Compensation and Benefit Analyst on a day to day basis
  • Lead and coordinate invoice approvals, and perform audits
  • Keep benefit guides up to date
  • Assist in launching a number of new projects such as creating benefit process overviews and knowledge database
  • Adhoc support to HR Operations and HR Business Partners as required


  • Currently working towards HBO/Bachelor's / Master's degree 
  • Fluent written and verbal language skills in English. Any additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to deal effectively with multiple tasks 
  • Able to adhere to deadlines & effective time management skills 
  • Hands on involvement & proactive attitude  
  • Problem solver 
  • Attention to detail and highly accurate 
  • Comfortable and discrete dealing with confidential matters 
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products; Experienced in using Excel
  • Able to work under stress and handle workload with flexibility 
  • Available to work at least 24 hours per week
