Job Summary 

In this role you will support the development of the global Benefits strategy and contributes to projects such as administer and analyze conditions of the benefits system, international policies, procedures and administration. This role will directly report to our Sr. Compensation & Benefits Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ø   Serve as a subject matter expert regarding benefits plans for employees in APAC

Ø  Assist employees with questions regarding benefit issues

Ø  Oversee and administer the Benefits plan for all employees based in APAC; acts as back up and assists with administration of other employee benefits plans in other regions as needed

Ø  Monitoring and auditing of plan data to carriers and reconciliation of error reports

Ø  Assist with employee and internal leave inquiries; process approvals/denials of leave requests

Ø  Assist with the Review and verification of vendor premium remittances and fees for accuracy

Ø  Continually improve processes and support with  work with internal departments to maximise plan performance and the employee experience

Ø  Administer benefit programs by maintaining employee database; responding to requests; interpreting policies and procedures; researching problems; providing information; establishing and maintaining a working relationship with benefit providers

Ø  Assist with annual open enrolment periods, implementation of new programs and compliance requirements for retirement, health and welfare plans

Ø  Complete benefits survey questionnaires and submits data to objective third party consultants for their use in creating surveys

Ø  Track and identifies trends in benefit program data and develops ad hoc reports to assist in making recommendations for management

Ø  Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefit processes

Ø  Researches and prepares ad hoc reports, compiles metrics for analysis and assists with financial reporting

Ø  Stay current with proposed legislation and look for applicability within existing programs in APAC

Ø  Project participation and perform related duties as assigned

 

Requirements

Ø  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Ø  8+ years’ international experience with benefits programs

Ø  Attention to detail and excellent time management skills

Ø  Positive forward-looking mind-set with ability to anticipate needs, prioritise competing deadlines and take initiative

Ø  Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Ø  Great customer service skills

Ø  Experience with sensitive and confidential information/projects

Ø  Knowledge with Microsoft office applications, including advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)

Ø  Working knowledge of Workday a plus
