The Alliances Marketing Manager will play a key role in the success of Nutanix technology partnerships.  As a part of the Partner Marketing team, you will support the successful execution of quarterly marketing plans to build awareness and drive demand for the Nutanix and partner joint solutions. You will work closely both with focus partners externally; and with marketing and sales stakeholders internally; to drive major launches and demand generation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build effective relationships with internal marketing/sales and external partner stakeholders
  • Work with those stakeholder teams to identify quarterly priority initiatives and build a plan to support the business reaching the business goals
  • Own key marketing programs for strategic partnerships, which may include building campaigns content, multi-city seminar event series, tradeshows, webinars, digital & social media campaigns, appointment setting campaigns, and more
  • Execute these programs end-to-end, including sourcing vendors and venues, creating messaging and invitations and registration pages, pushing out internal and external communications to drive attendance to events, managing pre-event planning and in some cases on-site support of events, and ensuring lead follow up and tracking
  • Closely manage project deadlines, budget, and MDF
  • Track, measure, and report on ROI of marketing campaigns
  • Continually identify new opportunities to improve scale, impact, and efficiency– whether through new marketing opportunities or process improvements

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ yrs. experience in marketing with emphasis in partner marketing or marketing programs
  • Proven ability to manage programs successfully to meet deadlines, goals, and budget
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Excel-based anlaysis
  • Experience in technology marketing, and at a start-up a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or marketing disciplines

  • San Jose CA or remote
