The core performance engineering team is looking for a developer to help create automation software. In this role you will help build internally and externally available software that tests and helps analyze system performance, reliability, and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation software for testing and analyzing performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.


  • Love of programming and skilled with Python and experience with some web development, ideally for enterprise-quality software.
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Xen.
  • Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage management
  • Development experience in file systems, operating systems, database back-ends, distributed systems management, Cloud technologies or VDI
  • Breadth of technology skills in Linux/Windows Systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Administration, TCP/IP Networking, and Storage


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with systems benchmarking tools.
  • Understanding of software, storage, filesystem performance characteristics
