Job Summary  

The Head of Partner Marketing APJ will lead the strategy, planning and support of regional marketing teams to execute Nutanix partner strategy with our OEM, Alliance, Distribution and Reseller partners across the Asia Pacific & Japan theatre and will be responsible for leveraging, creating, planning and executing programs to and through partners. This role will also be responsible for measuring ROI and ensuring programs are leveraged where applicable.  This role reports to the Head of Marketing, APJ. 



  • Cultivate strong relationships with the regional marketing and partner sales teams and support scaling their business through all partner routes. 
  • Develop and implement initiatives and turnkey programs to recruit partners and develop partner pipeline with minimal Nutanix involvement. 
  • Bring a healthy level of creative thinking and new ways of building long lasting partnerships across all routes to market. 
  • Deliver regular reporting of marketing activities with emphasis in ROI and improvement analysis. Oversee progression of partner Registered Deals
  • Make investment recommendations and act as the bridge between global partner marketing and regional teams with specific requirements across APJ


  • 10 year+ experience in all facets of partnering from enablement to demand generation to sales acceleration (on a progressive continuum)
  • Marketing experience including event,  web-based marketing and a record of developing successful integrated marketing programs
  • Experience and understanding of partner requirements including a demonstrated strength building meaningful and long-lasting relationships
  • Experience in a start-up environment marketing an emerging company against competitors with long-standing brand recognition
  • Effectively and efficiently works with a vast array of information and thrives in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate marketing messages and technical concepts
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage from concept through implementation, and deliver quality outcomes efficiently
  • Multi-lingual (Chinese, English, Japanese), Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Marketo a plus.
  • Advanced degree in economics, philosophy, business or marketing a plus.
  • Approximately 25% travel will be required for this role
