Qualifications: Extensive JDE CNC knowledge and experience working in/with Oracle J.D.Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x. Experience with MS SQL database and/or knowledge required. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Positive interpersonal and communications skills are required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years experience, supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving user issues for comparable business software.
Experience: Extensive knowledge of JDE CNC related subjects. Experience in MS SQL database. Experience in JDE and database security and general system knowledge. Experience with Data Access Studio (DAS) desired. The ability to work independently, conduct independently, conduct independent research, problem solving, goal setting and team collaboration are essential. Ability to write documentation for aspects of duties.
Physical Conditions/Nature of Work: Work is typically performed in a research or development environment. This position will perform off-hours (non-business hours/weekend) installations, applications and testing, as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently sits at a desk, uses a personal computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment; the ability to climb stairs is required. The employee is required to bend, reach, and must have finger dexterity. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. May rarely work at high altitudes. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Occasional domestic and foreign travel is required.
