JOIN THE NORTHWEST CENTER ACCOUNTING TEAM

AS A FULL TIME - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.

As an Administrative Assistant in the Northwest Center Accounting department, you will be responsible for clerical and administrative tasks supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the Accounting department.  Also responsible for general clerical tasks that support the Accounting management team of Northwest Center.

Location:  Seattle, WA – Corporate Headquarters

Wage:  $18.00+ Hourly DOE

Essential Functions:

  • Provide clerical support for staff on Accounts Receivable payment & collections
  • Support Director and Staff in monitoring and reconciling customers’ accounts
  • Maintain record of customer follow up efforts in Dynamics CRM
  • Process Accounts Receivable Check Deposits
  • Process Customers Credit Card payments
  • Track Approval of AP invoices and support AP system improvements to integrate with Dynamics GP
  • Prepare Accounts Payable check runs as directed
  • Track dates for registrations, license, leases and contracts
  • Process certificate of insurance forms as requested

Education/Certification:                         

  • High School Diploma Required
  • AA Degree preferred

Experience:                         

  • Experience as an administrative support in an Accounting department is preferred

  • Ability to read, write, converse, and understand English fluently; strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and follow directions as given
  • Excellent customer service skills with positive attitude and sensitivity to agency mission
  • Excellent organizational, time management and telephone skills
  • Demonstrated ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to handle the day to day stress and maintain professional demeanor
  • Demonstrate ability as a self-starter and problem solver
  • Must be customer service oriented and maintain a helpful and positive attitude
