In the Accounts Payable (AP) role you will support Northwest Center and it’s related subsidiary companies.

Full-cycle accounts payable functions including vendor invoice routing, invoice coding, reviewing invoice approval, document matching, data entry, & check processing…

Location: Seattle, WA (South Park)

Schedule: Full Time – Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Wage: $20.00+ per hour DOE

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or three (3) years Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional behavior, even under stressful conditions
  • Experience and success in working in confidential, deadline-driven environments
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple tasks
  • Experience with internet billing and licensing systems

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

  • Code invoices daily, route to department managers for approval, and input into accounting system
  • Verify invoice account coding and approval
  • Perform bi-weekly check runs
  • Create, analyze, maintain, and/or post adjustments or information into vendor accounts (debit memos, credit memos, term discounts, etc.) as needed
  • Research and/or resolve price and quantity discrepancies with purchasers and vendors
  • Initiate positive contact with vendors to resolve invoicing issues
  • Calculate month-end accruals
  • Track and maintain vendor terms
  • Prepare journal entries as needed
  • Accounts Payable GL account reconciliations
  • Prepare credit applications
  • Prepare other miscellaneous full-cycle accounts payable functions, as needed
  • Consistently and accurately maintain necessary account files and reports
  • Manage Company Credit Card Program
  • Maintain City and State business licenses
  • Review/Maintain Vehicle License Tabs
  • Interacts positively with internal and external customers
  • Review File Clerk's AP work and post
  • Consistently meets input, processing, and production deadlines
  • Positively suggest process improvements
  • Other tasks as assigned
