Office Manager and Intake Coordinator

We are looking for an Office Manager and Intake Coordinator to be a part of the Northwest Center Kid’s Early Intervention team! This position provides administrative and support for the Early Intervention Program and performs a variety of clerical duties to assist in smooth department operation. As Intake coordinator, you will be the first phone contact for families who have a concern about their child’s development. This position responds to, and organizes, all incoming referrals.  You will work out of both our South Park and Ballard locations.

The ideal candidate will easily establish rapport with team members, families and other professionals. You must be able to take initiative, be organized, be an independent worker, and be a strong team player. Further, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequently changing tasks and have a desire to help wherever needed. Passion for diversity and inclusion is a must!

  • Two years clerical or customer service experience; college course work in business or related field desirable
  • Experience in early intervention/childcare setting a plus
  • Able to communicate clearly in English in oral and written form; strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interested in being part of a dynamic team
  • Interested in supporting families
  • Must be customer service oriented and maintain a helpful and positive attitude
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel
  • WA State Driver's license and clean driving record
