The Marketing and Creative Partner has strong creative talent, a vision for Northwest Center’s creative identity, a pulse on the competitive landscape and an ability to build followership across teams and the organization. As the company’s, Marketing and Creative Partner, this hands-on role calls upon your skills in both ideation and production to build the company’s visual identity and continue it through to marketing program execution. You will work in collaboration with the marketing team to determine the company’s unique position within the market, as well as identifying new opportunities for creating market advantage. You report to the Director, Marketing & Communications and support internal clients across our programs and social enterprise businesses.  

Essential Job Duties  

  • Represent the Marketing Department by actively developing relationships with other departments and business lines. 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to set the overall creative direction for the Northwest Center brand. 
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards in terms of style, quality and tone of voice in graphic design/copywriting for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person. 
  • Develop effective and persuasive content for internal and external communications, including but not limited to: brochures, client presentations, forms, templates, statement messages, handbooks. 
  • Support Corporate Marketing Department to maintain brand consistency throughout website. 
  • Collaborate with the Big Blue Truck Team, Philanthropy Department, and Northwest Center program leads to develop or craft strategic campaign marketing and messages for their programs. 
  • Incorporate strategic plans of individual program campaigns into corporate strategic marketing plan. 
  • Develop and support the monthly editorial content calendar for all social media channels. 
  • Assist in execution of corporate functions and marketing events including content development, design of event materials, communications plan, site inspections and run of show. 
  • Act as coach and editor for guest content contributors, including NWC staff, volunteers and community partners. 
  • Steward projects from brief and creative concepts, to revisions and final deliverables. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent career experience 
  • 3+ years marketing/communications/PR experience 
  • Excellent Writing Skills (provide writing samples) 
  • Internal and External Customer-focused attitude  
  • Trustworthy and dependable  
  • The ability to collaborate with a cross functional team 
  • Deliver quality work, timely responses and meet project deadlines 
  • Strong research, planning and coordination skills with anticipation of problems
