Area Manager 1-1 Job Coaching

Northwest Center is look for an Area Manager to join our dynamic 1-1 job coaching team!  As an Area Manager you will have the opportunity to lead your team in providing excellent coaching support and customer service to the individuals we serve.  Make an impact in the community by overseeing the team that provides adults with disabilities the support they need to be successful in the workplace and showcase their skills!

Location: Based in Renton and traveling throughout King County

Schedule: Full Time Monday through Friday

Wage: DOE + Great Benefits!

The Requirements: 

  • BA degree with specific college courses in the human services field or a combination of education & experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job 
  • 4+ years of Human Service work (with increasing  leadership/management experience preferred)
  • Valid and current Washington State Driver's License
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification

The Job:
  • Train and support all Job Coaches with an emphasis on timely, frequent and proactive communication through active listening and support
  • Provide new hire and on-going job training for Coaching staff on proper employment support techniques
  • Serve as a unified member of the Employment Services Leadership team
  • Proactively resolve staff concerns and other sensitive personnel matters
  • Oversee relationships with client employers
  • Act as a liaison with community representatives including DDD and other funding & auditing agencies as indicated
  • Facilitate the building of bigger, stronger, and more developed relationships within the community which will lead to clients getting jobs while sharing those connections with staff and other Northwest Center leaders for the betterment of all who are served
