Customer Account Support Specialist – HVAC

Position Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Inside Sales Account Specialist to support our coil solutions business. This role acts as a central point of customer communication, answering inquiries, preparing quotes, providing product knowledge, and coordinating with engineering and production teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, order processing, or sales support experience who wants career growth within a stable manufacturing environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, distributors and internal stakeholder
- Prepare quotes enter orders, track delivery status and provide updates
- Collaborate with reps to ensure coil selections meet project requirements and optimize performance.
- Assist in specification review and offer alternative recommendations when needed.
- Support pricing, product questions, and solution recommendations
- Act as a technical resource for reps and customers, helping them understand product capabilities and application strategies.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Work closely with engineering, operations and supply chain to resolve issues
- Conduct rep visits for training, product promotion, and technical support to strengthen relationships and drive product adoption.
- Travel Required, up to 20%
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Experience interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and support reps and customers in technical discussions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Preferred:
- 2 years or more HVAC coil experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with AHU systems and fan performance.
- Experience working with independent sales reps and consulting engineers.
- ERP system experience (Infor Syteline preferred), BOM configurator
- Exposure to customer-facing roles, rep development, or business growth initiatives.
- Technical proficiency in HVAC coil design and performance
- Ability to interpret specifications and drawings and develop custom coil solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills for supporting reps and customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline preferred) and BOM configurators is a plus
- Familiarity with AHU systems, fan performance, and working with independent sales reps
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Travel up to 20%
