Per Diem Video Producer, The Greene Space

Per Diem Video Producers for The Greene Space are responsible for running video recording and streaming operations. Their tasks involve:

  • Setting up the cameras and graphics for each show or event.
  • Operating cameras, switcher, and any other gear required for production.
  • Executing video recording and capture.
  • Operating the sound board and light board.
  • Being able to understand how signal flows between stage, front of house, broadcast booth and video room.


  • Previous experience in a live video streaming operation
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Willingness to work flexibly
  • Ability to easily work with and for diverse people with different capabilities and needs, whether they’re colleagues, clients, or audience members
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and climb ladders

Additional Information

Compensation: $50 per hour

This is a per diem role with hours and schedule determined on a as needed basis that works on-site at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space. 

Given this role will be on-site, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required unless NYPR has approved a specific religious or medical exemption in advance of the first day of work. At this time, NYPR defines being fully vaccinated as having received two Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations or one Johnson and Johnson vaccination.
