IT Specialist

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing on-site & remote support to our end-users. The IT Support Specialist will play a key role in troubleshooting a variety of desktop and network issues, assist with projects, and delivering exceptional client service to our users.

**This position will require you to be in-office at least four days per week, from our Boston Seaport office location. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain hardware, software, peripheral devices, and other products.
  • Support audio/visual equipment setup and troubleshooting in meetings, conference rooms, and other environments. 
  • Maintain and update internal troubleshooting documentation to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. 
  • Administer a wide range of SaaS applications.

Other Duties: 

  • Continuous improvement of tools
  • Participate in project-related tasks 
  • Travel to other sites may be required.
  • Additional responsibilities and tasks may be assigned as needed on a project or interim basis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT Support Role
  • Desired experience with Okta, Office365, JAMF Pro, Intune, Zoom, or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.    
Work Conditions:
  • This is an on-site/hybrid position that requires 4 days in our Boston office  
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for certain IT projects and deliverables  
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
