Description

·         Responsible for communicating and posting positions to internet job boards and through other recruiting channels ensuring the postings accurately reflect job description details and hiring manager requests.

·         Actively source candidates for identified positions. In addition, maintain a passive recruitment pipeline for future needs.

·         Serves as primary Nashville General Hospital contact for contracted search firm vendors. Manage the recruitment mailbox including clearance and prescreen presentations.

·         Coordinates interview feedback from hiring managers and candidates to be forwarded to recruitment team.

·         Develop and facilitate the on-boarding process for newly credentialed and hired providers.

·         Responsible for candidate leads, prescreening and appropriate follow up for all applicants.

·         Maintain open and responsive communications with all Hiring Physician Leaders as well as applicants in process.

·         Responsible for coordinating in-person & virtual recruitment interviews/ opportunities, travel logistics, reimbursements, etc.

·         Responsible for sending out offer letters and providing communication between the candidates and the recruitment team.

·         Responsible for provider contracts. This includes working with the Contracts Manager on drafts contracts, edits, final drafts, and signature process. The Provider Recruitment Specialist is responsible for all communications, timelines, and deadlines throughout the contract negotiation and finalization process.

·         Utilize the applicant tracking system to continuously build applicant profiles and candidate pools. Continually identify opportunities for improvement within the physician recruitment function and make necessary changes.

·         Lead end-to-end recruitment and hiring process specifically designed to create an exemplary candidate experience in alignment with NGH’s strategy, mission and values.

·         Research and stay current with market trends to inform strategies as well as the development and implementation of any needed policies/guidelines related to the physician recruitment.

·         Partner with Provider Liaison and Medical Staff Services for credentialing and back-end support needs for onboarding of physicians.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Exhibit a comprehensive understanding Medical Staff & credentialing rules/regulations/requirements. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

·         Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of provider service lines, specialties, and sub-specialties.

·         Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

 

Education/ Experience: 

·         Associate degree (or equivalent experience), with a minimum of three years of provider recruitment experience required.
