CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • The driver will be in constant contact with patients and their family/caregivers who, by nature of the service they require, may experience difficult days. The driver will display a courteous and respectful attitude at all times. The driver will be self-aware and practice service recovery and will report any customer service issues immediately to supervisor,
DAILY ROUTE
  • The route for patient pick-up/drop-off will be determined by the routing software, and driver will adhere to the designated route.
CONFIDENTIALITY
  • The driver will adhere to HIPPA rules concerning patient privacy and will not discuss or name any patient other than in the course of required duties. Driver must sign an annual Confidentiality Agreement.YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum driving experience of 5 years with no accidents or tickets in the last 3 years.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURES
  • A valid Tennessee driver’s license with safe driving history is required. Liability auto insurance as required by State of Tennessee Department of Safety for all licensed drivers. After hire, driver must be able to be bonded and insured by NGH.
    Completion of a Defensive Driving course as provided by Metro Government is required.
