Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Care-Partner/CNA for Telemetry as a Full-time Night Care Partner at our Main Hospital on Albion Street.      
      
  This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. A care partner/CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks. *This is a full-time night position working 12-hour shifts and a weekend requirement.*   
  
Care-Partner/CNA Roles and Responsibilities:      
  • Taking and recording patient vitals
  • Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom
  • Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records
  • Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable
  • Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams
  • Communicating with the patient's family
  • Helping patients plan for hospital discharge
Required Skills & Qualifications:   
  • Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Tennessee OR Current enrollment in a program of professional nursing RN and successful completion of first semester of nursing school to include nursing fundamentals clinical
  • Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. CPI required within 90 days of hire.
