Nashville General Hospital is hiring an MRI Technologist for Medical Imaging at our Bordeaux Clinic as a Full-time Technologist. Day shift available!

This position is primarily responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures by operating complex imaging equipment to include: MRI scanner, accompanying contrast injector and patient monitoring devices. Performs patient care services relevant to imaging procedures to include IV access starts and contrast injection. Maintains a log of procedures, performs QA, insures availability of supplies and responsible for maintaining current imaging knowledge base. This is a Monday-Friday position working 5 8-hour shifts!

MRI Technologist Responsibilities: 

• Operate complex medical imaging equipment
• Remove and replace IV’s and catheters in preparation for MRI
• Explaining the MRI process and ensuring patients adhere to safety standards
• Position MRI equipment and patient to ensure the best image captured
• Monitor patients during scanning and maintain patient records

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• Graduate of two-year accredited radiography program (JCERT accredited preferred)
• BLS Required
