Nashville General Hospital is hiring an Associate Chief Operating Officer for full-time Day! 
   
In conjunction with the COO, the Associate Chief Operating Officer (ACOO) is responsible for establishing and overseeing cost-effective, high-quality healthcare services throughout NGH. Oversees, in conjunction with the COO, the clinical operations for Therapies, Imaging, Laboratory, and Pharmacy services as the supervisor for these departments.
 
As an Associate Chief Operating Officer, you will: 
  • Assures the establishment, annual review, and updating of operational policies and procedures in collaboration with the COO.
  • Explores collaborative working relationships and strategic alliances with external members of the healthcare delivery system and other non-healthcare institutions, as requested by the COO.
  • Works with the COO and other leadership throughout the organization to help design and improve efficient operations throughout the system.
  • Collaborates with operational and clinical leadership to ensure appropriate staffing levels at each clinic, including providers and support staff to support proper operation.
  • Works with the leadership to ensure appropriate analysis of business opportunities and coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure successful transitions into NGH.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and resource and material use.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:  
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration 
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience or 1-2 years of Healthcare Administration experience
  • Bilingual Skills (Spanish speaking preferred)
